Quay House Cottage

This project consisted of the extension, extensive alteration and refurbishment of a residential property on the Quay at Orford. Due to ground conditions, micro-piles were utilised for the extension.

A key feature in this project was the construction of a bridge above the lounge, connecting each end of the property’s first floor, which was originally serviced by two separate staircases. We also constructed the new balcony, complete with glass balustrade and external heaters.
